Job Description

Skyworks Irvine design center is seeking a full-time Engineering Technician to join our DRX Characterization team. In this role you will be responsible to build bench setups, run bench calibration, test microcircuits and data analysis. 

 

Job Responsibilities
•    Primary job responsibilities may include automated or semi-automated testing of microcircuits, data post-processing, plotting, statistical analysis, documentation.
•    Upgrading and building testers per provided diagrams and drawings.
•    Build DC harnesses for bench setups.
•    Troubleshoots and repairs test equipment as necessary.
•    Setup and reconfigures test benches for project specific needs
•    Installs automation software patches and firmware updates.

 

Job Requirements
•    Should have a minimum of Associate Degree in EE Tech Program and 4 years of job experience
•    Hands on experience with Lab test equipment: multi-meter, oscilloscope, signal generators, power meter, power supplies.
•    Basic knowledge and hands on experience with RF test equipment: Spectrum Analyzer, VNA. 
•    Basic Knowledge of RF fundamentals.
•    Proficiency in Bench level/trouble shooting electronic equipment.
•    Ability to understand schematics and diagrams.
•    Experience with MS-Office and Windows OS.
•    Excellent communication skills, ability to follow verbal and written instructions

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $59,600$104,100 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
