Job Description

  • Measure and improve quality of 8D quality to help SFSS identify true root causes and implement the required CAPA. 
  • Train and coach SFSS members in 8D RCA.  
  • Develop a system/process to track CAPA status.  
  • Improve Skyworks’ corrective action report (CAR) and 8D.  
  • Perform broad analysis to understand site level systemic quality gaps and develop quality prevention strategies and program.  
  • Key Driver for Preventive Action Programs like Human Reduction , TPMs etc.
  • Build 8D analysis reports to track all quality events.  
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams in improvement activities. (e.g. quality, yield, engineering, operation, IATF, etc.) 
  • Govern 8D business process to drive effective root cause analysis (RCA) within Skyworks Filter Solutions, Singapore (SFSS). 
     

Job requirements

  • Degree in engineering (electrical/electronic/mechanical/material/chemical).
  • 3-5 years of industry experience, semiconductor experience will have advantage. 
  • Experience in 8D methodology is preferred. 
  • Familiar with FMEA, SPC, CAPA and other related Quality systems and processes.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office applications.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Team player with ability to work cross functionally and globally.
  • Take positive actions with self-discipline.
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage dynamic priorities.
