Job Description

Skyworks Andover Mobile Solutions team is seeking experienced RF Technician talent to support engineering activities in an RF lab.  You will work on cutting edge technology as part of a supportive, high impact team developing parts that will be in millions of widely used devices.  

Your Role:
Responsibilities include building prototypes, RF tuning and RF testing. Daily tasks include solder assembly of die and small components, die mounting, wire bonding and RF testing/tuning. Technician will review test results with engineers, make modification of prototypes and retest until performance meets specifications. Technician will take an active role in the development of products by making tuning decisions, participating in meetings, and being a team player.
Job requirements:
•    Associate Degree with 3+ years of related experience.
•    Proficiency in Bench level circuit testing of RF semiconductor products- With a specialty in EVM and Ruggedness testing
•    Proficiency with Acoustic Wave Filter measurements and characterization
•    Proficiency using hand tools (e.g., Tweezers, Vacuum pencils, Soldering Irons, Die Bonding, Wire Bonding, Test Fixtures)
•    Proficiency in using an ultrasonic Ball Bonder
•    Experience with handling and soldering ultra-miniature 01005 SMT components
•    Assembly experience working on a hot plate using a microscope
•    Ability to interpret data after tuning to determine positive or negative results
•    Ability to enter data and create graphs using Microsoft Excel
•    Familiarity with RF and electronic instruments such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meters, DC supplies and multi-meters
•    General understanding of calibration techniques for test equipment
•    Must be team-oriented, accountability and ownership   #LI-DB1
