Job Description

Join the team making EVs go farther, artificial intelligence more efficient, and industrial systems smarter! We work with cutting-edge automotive manufacturers, industrial giants, and alternative energy pioneers. Our flagship isolation products safely connect high voltage systems to the outside world and drive cutting-edge SiC and GaN FET-based power conversion systems. Our patented technology in EVs, solar inverters, and even rocket ships has earned us design wins among the most prominent and respected companies in these markets.

 

The MSS / Power Product Marketing Intern will provide technical marketing support for Skyworks’ Power products, which include products focused on automotive and industrial isolation applications. Working closely with the applications engineering team, the candidate will have an opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in an environment of respect and responsibility. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn, and an interest in automotive radio. This position will report to the product line manager (PLM) providing a great opportunity to learn about all aspects of product definition and marketing.

Responsibilities

Develop and assist in developing technical marketing collateral (data sheets, white papers, presentation slides, use cases, etc.) promoting Skyworks’ isolation products
Analyzing and interpreting sales data
Participating in special projects as required
Support researching competitor products and marketing
Support customer requests for information
Support new product launch efforts

 

Job Requirements

Currently enrolled in a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or in an MBA program with an electrical engineering undergraduate. BS enrollees must have completed the equivalent of a  third-year course  curriculum
Excellent verbal, writing, and editing skills
Understanding the fundamentals of power electronics and/or semiconductors is a plus
Candidate should be a self-starter with high attention to detail
Capable of working with cross-functional teams of engineers, marketing, sales, and operations

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
