Job Description

Digital Design Verification Engineer
We are a passionate and dedicated team of world-class analog, mixed-signal and digital designers committed to building the next generation of ASoCs. This position is for an experienced and equally passionate digital design verification engineer interested in excellent personal and professional growth opportunities.


Your role:
You will work with a dedicated team of digital design and verification engineers, working on the next generation building blocks for our complex SOCs. Block level functions include complex radios, DSP and audio processing, with a focus on the portable, ultra-low power market. In working closely with the digital designers, you will verify the designs which ultimately leads to the quality and performance our customers are expecting. Tasks include close communication with the designers and team, to fully understand functionality, writing test plans, creating test benches, writing and debugging tests and summarize and report results. You will also interface with other engineering teams within the business unit, including the mixed signal and analog design and verification teams who collaboratively with the digital team create our complex SOCs.
Flawless execution, with a sense of urgency is key, but also to be an “out of the box” thinker, to find innovative solutions to our customer’s problems

Your profile:
Proven track record of experience in digital design verification
BSEE and 2 years or MSEE


You have experience with:
Creating test plans from block specifications
Creating and maintaining block-level test benches
Writing and reading Verilog and SystemVerilog
Writing, debugging and managing groups of tests
Writing constrained random stimulus generators and assertion checkers
Writing bus functional simulation models
Writing Python scripts
Running Verilog simulations (e.g. with Cadence Incisive)
Debugging with waveform viewers (e.g. with Cadence Simvision)
Producing detailed technical reports and documentation
Familiarity with C-code/embedded firmware/debuggers
Professional, open, team oriented and highly self-motivated attitude


Ideally you are also experienced in:
Hands-on pre-silicon verification of SOC designs
Audio quality concepts (SNR, THD, SINAD, DR, etc.)
Audio DSP methods
Standard digital audio interfaces (I2S, PDM, PWM, USB, etc.)
Bluetooth MAC and PHY (or other wireless protocols) verification
Post-silicon validation
