Summary

The Director, Supply Chain reports into Digital Supply Chain organization within Supply Chain.  This position leads overall Supply Chain team in Bengaluru location, and responsible to manage and deliver Digital Supply initiatives, support Supply Planning, Central Planning and Master Data Management Operations.  As the Director, Supply Chain, you will lead a team of experienced professionals to collect requirements, design processes and solutions, develop, deploy and provide post go live support solutions that improve and automate Skyworks end to end Supply Chain.  In addition, the individual will collaborate with Demand fulfillment, other teams within Supply Planning, Capacity Planning, Customer Service, Sourcing and Logistics to ensure the satisfactory delivery of Goods per our customer’s requirement.  Ensures the execution of the company’s strategy, Digital Supply Chain Roadmap initiatives, Financial Targets attainment and the integrity of the Supply chain.

 

Responsibilities

  • This person will be the DRI (Directly Responsible Individual) for all Supply Chain functions that are executed and supported from Bengaluru location, with the objective of achieving planning automation and execution efficiencies that are robust, seamless, dynamic and responsive to the needs of the business.
  •  Drive deployment of the Supply Chain Roadmap and project plans to improve plan automations, predictability and stability across the Supply Chain.
  •  Architect and design Supply Chain solutions that include Advanced Planning Software and Execution systems such as Kinaxis, BlueYonder, and SAP.
  •  Collaborate with Supply Chain groups and other stake holders to design, develop and deploy Analytics and Dashboards that support KPIs, root cause analysis, Plan Automation and early warning detections.
  • Master data modelling to support Planning functions, design and deploy data error metrics and strategies to maintain high data quality and avoid data errors.
  • Champion to initiate, architect and manage activities to fully automate supply chain planning functions with an ultimate goal of Full Autonomous Planning capabilities.
  • Initiates, manages and maintains discussions with Supply Planning teams, Demand Management and BU Leaders to align on roadmap execution strategy and expectations.
  • Leads integration and cross functional communication with internal / external stakeholders to achieve desired supply chain roadmap and execution targets.
  • Drives a culture of continuous improvement within Supply Planning team and promotes the development of sustainable processes.
  • Measure and track actual performance in support of digital supply chain roadmap, business and functional strategies.
  • Frame direct reports and responsibility to the team ensuring training and knowledge sharing.
  • Responsible for managing all escalations, in a timely manner, with all stakeholders. This person will be the key liaison for matters of Supply Chain functions in Bengaluru location.
  • Apply fundamental understanding of semiconductor manufacturing process, Advance Supply Chain Planning, Digital Roadmap transformations to continuously shape digital supply chain roadmap. 
  • Establish and present benchmarking framework, along with steps for continuous improvement.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) – APICS preferred
  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in supply chain management, and experience with Supply Chain systems such as Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, SAP in an Semiconductor or high-tech industry
  • Proven capabilities of creative problem solving, using software systems for processing, filtering, and presenting large quantities of data
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets, identify business opportunities and drive improvements cross functionally.
  • Experience managing highly effective teams, cultivating new leaders, and helping professionals grow and advance their careers.
  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams across multiple regions or countries 
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally
