Responsibilities

  • Experienced with Custom IC Mask/Layout design for 40/22nm analog, RF, and mixed/signal circuits. Circuits include opamps, DACs/ADCs, filters, preamps, regulators, etc. Strong N22 experience a plus.
  • Perform layout from scratch, modify existing layouts. Create block level floorplans and work within the constraints of higher-level floorplans. Participate in peer and engineering reviews.
  • Provide accurate area and schedule estimates for assigned circuit blocks.
  • Perform Calibre DRC/LVS/PEX verification.
  • Work closely with both design engineers and other layout engineers.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor/ Master Degree with minimally 6 years of experience
  • The ability to hit the ground running using Cadence IC618 Virtuoso XL for layout and Calibre for DRC/LVS/PEX.
  • In-depth knowledge of CMOS IC Mask Design and Verification. Must understand basics such as electromigration, IR drop, coupling capacitance, device and signal matching and Layout
  • A self-starter with good planning/reporting skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements
  • Ability to be a technical anchor and mentor for team members
