Responsibilities

Key Duties include, but not limited to:

Design, develop, and implement custom Power BI reports and dashboards that are visually appealing, easy to use, and meet the needs of the organization.
Develop and implement complex data models using Power BI's DAX language, data sources, and relationships.
Maintain and troubleshoot Power BI solutions to ensure optimal performance and stability.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand and prioritize business requirements, recommend solutions, and provide technical guidance and support.
Develop and maintain Power BI documentation, including data dictionaries, user guides, and knowledge base articles.
Create and implement data governance policies and processes to ensure data security, accuracy, and consistency.
Develop and maintain Power BI data sources, including Power BI datasets and Power BI Reports, to ensure that data is up-to-date, accurate, and consistent.
Implement data refresh and data integration processes to ensure that Power BI dashboards and reports are updated in real-time.
Provide training and technical support to end-users on how to use Power BI dashboards and reports effectively.
Stay current with new Power BI features, functionalities, and trends, and continuously learn and expand your knowledge in the field.
Gather requirements, design, develop, implement, maintain, and manage dashboards, visualizations, and other BI solutions.
Understands the relevant data needs and coordinates with the data team to deliver meta data models in support of reporting needs.
Optimize performance (load time) of dashboards, data sources, and reports using best practices.
Own and maintain non-DB data inputs, such as Excel and other text-based data sources.
Manage and maintain the scheduling and delivery of reoccurring reports and data extracts.
Responsible for the organization of assets within the BI applications
Facilitate Employee Self Service solutions for end users to easily find answers to ad-hoc questions through ease of use and training solutions.
Work within an Agile methodology to design, develop, test, and implement reporting features and functions to include system enhancements.
Document, review and improve existing systems while collaborating with teams to integrate new systems and needs.

Required Experience and Skills

Skills and Education Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 10  years of experience working in the space of business system analytics.
• 5+ years of experience developing and implementing Power BI solutions.
• Proficient in SQL, DAX, and Power BI development.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and business intelligence.
• Experience with data visualization, report design, and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good to have Qualification

• Expertise in scripting language such as python
• Certifications in Analytics, Data Science, Big Data, Power BI
