Job Description

  • Manage site employee relation issues.
  • Work with APAC talent acquisition partner to coordinate interview schedules between local, regional and global teams. 
  • Generate employment offer letters & initiate onboarding.
  • Ensure accurate processing of all new hire documents e.g. generating new hire check list, voluntary identification forms, state/federal tax forms.
  • Implements and administers human resources programs, policies and practices in a shared services HR model. 
  • Maintains detailed knowledge of HR service areas and answers employee inquiries pertaining to HR programs, processes, procedures and communications. 
  • Responds to employee service needs such as document requests, employment form completion, onboarding assistance, HRIS data maintenance, benefits administration, payroll processing or other HR functions as assigned. 
  • Maintains records related to human resources activities, policy changes or additions.
  • Assists in the development and ongoing maintenance of processes and procedures to improve upon the overall operational effectiveness and efficiency of the function. 
  • Processes and ensures accuracy for new hires, employee data changes, HR program transactions (referral payout, education reimbursement), employee conversions, inter-regional transfers, and coordination with payroll schedule
  • Supports the testing phases of new/changed functionality in HR Systems.
  • Develops ad-hoc and permanent reports to support HR reporting needs, to track and trend HR data, and to support annual programs, HR processes and audits.
  • Monitors, audits, and ensures compliance on all new hire paperwork for accuracy, including regional specific requirements.
  • Serves as escalation point for shared services support. 
  • Conducts ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
  • Other HR duties and projects as assigned due to business needs.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of related experience (preferably in a Shared Services or coordinator role or in an HR specialty)
  • Experience with HR/ payroll technology (Success Factors Employee Central preferred)
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to the HR function.
  • Strong customer service orientation with ability to work effectively in a team environment  
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral 
  • Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Experience in the APAC region is a plus
