Description
The individual in this leadership position is expected to fulfil a broad range of responsibilities related to definition, pathfinding and productization of silicon-based foundry technologies. The individual will lead a team of technologists under Skyworks’ Technology and Manufacturing Group (TMG) that develops technologies to enable leading edge product portfolio. The individual will manage a team of technologists in US and Overseas locations.
Responsibilities
- Develop long range technology roadmap.
- Proactively collaborate with peers in TMG and Business Units to identify gaps in technology portfolio and propose solutions.
- Work with foundry partners to define solutions that exceed Performance, Cost, Capacity and Quality requirements.
- Define success criteria and execute NTI (New Technology Introduction) to deploy the solutions.
- Provide technical expertise to peers in TMG and Business Units to tackle challenges in new product introduction as well as mature technologies.
Required Experience and Skills
- Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, or similar disciplines.
- 15+ years in Semiconductor industry; with expertise in a broad range of technologies such as SOI RFCMOS, SiGe BiCMOS, Advanced node CMOS, Analog CMOS etc.
- Proven track record of collaboration with wafer foundries in US and Overseas.
- Ability to communicate with a variety of audience, including executive management and end customers.
- Demonstrated ability to grow a high-caliber team.

Desired Experience and Skills
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $170,100 - $339,500 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
