Position Summary:

Skyworks is a leading semiconductor company that is empowering the wireless networking revolution, connecting people, places, and things around the world. The Summer intern will work with our signal processing and chip design teams. You will have the opportunity of enabling cutting-edge Active Noise Cancellation and signal processing algorithms on edge devices.

Job Responsibilities

In this internship you will:

  • Model signal processing algorithms.
  • Review published signal processing algorithms.
  • Test, troubleshoot and improving existing algorithms.
  • Data collection and analysis.
  • Test and evaluation of algorithms and apps.

Qualifications

  • Available to work 40 hours/week June - August 2025 whilst enrolled in an academic program.

  • Bachelors or Master students majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.

  • Great coding skills and adherence to good coding practices.

  • C and Python proficiency.

  • Understanding of basic Discrete-Time Signal Processing (IIR filters, FFT, sampling).

  • Matlab familiarity desirable.

  • Familiarity with audio/music signals and recording is a plus.

  • Eye for data analysis and presentation.

  • Zeal for hands-on work with instruments.

  • Eagerness to learn and collaborate.

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
