Job Description

In this critical role, you will be responsible for Technical/Business Program Management of one or more mixed-signal integrated circuit programs, along with associated firmware, applications hardware, software, and documentation, targeted at various segments of the consumer audio market. Our PMs lead cross-functional development teams comprised of Design Engineering, Verification, Packaging, Product and Test Engineering, Foundry Engineering, QA, Reliability, Supply Chain, etc., to assure compliance with specifications, cost targets, critical milestones, prototype sample on-time deliveries, and successful transition to manufacturing. You will develop detailed project schedule with a clear understanding of critical path, identify and manage risks, and report status regularly to Skyworks management and, where applicable, lead customers. PMs must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and communications skills, an excellent problem-solver, comfortable with high levels of complexity and uncertainty. and bring a track record of successful execution in a heavily-matrixed environment. Job Responsibilities:

  • Chair weekly cross-functional development team meetings
  • Facilitate resolution of technical issues as necessary to insure product compliance / robustness against internal and external specifications
  • Drive critical path schedule tasks and risk mitigation plans
  • Support material procurement and processing plans
  • Ensure conformance with (and help improve) Skyworks Product Realization Process
  • Present status to senior management, other functional leads with the BU / Operations / Quality and customers / co-development partners

Qualifications

  • BSEE, MSEE, MBA, or related technical education with 15+ years of experience in technical project management and/or design/product/systems/applications engineering leadership in the semiconductor industry
  • Knowledge/familiarity with analog / mixed signal IC design, audio processor design, and/or wireless systems design is highly valued
  • Excellent, high-bandwidth communication skills, organization skills, and strong retention/understanding of complex technical/critical information
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams
  • A passion to win/contribute, a growth mindset, and a "do what it takes" attitude
  • Strong knowledge of planning methodologies and supporting tools including MS Project and/or PPM Pro (Oracle's Agile PLM software is a plus)
  • Strong presentation skills (MS PowerPoint)

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $136,800$271,500 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
