Summary

The Analog Design Engineering  Co-Op will work closely with a group of PA and LNA design experts in development of infrastructure ICs and modules that have stand-alone or integrated PA cores, LNA cores, RF switches, attenuators, bias controller, and various RF functional blocks for infrastructure applications.

Job Responsibilities

  • Use advanced Mixed-Signal software environments for behavioral modeling and verification of mixed-signal integrated circuit systems.
  • Design analog blocks such as amplifiers, bandgaps, detectors etc

Job Requirements

  • Successful completion of graduate courses with projects related to analog design, such as, Op-amp, DAC/ADC.
  • Presently enrolled in a Masters or PhD program in Electrical engineering with main courses related to analog circuit design.
  • Successful completion of graduate courses with design projects related to analog circuit design.
  • Knowledge of cadence schematic, simulation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point.
  • Knowledge about control theory, digital communication theory, and RF experience.
  • Working experience with cadence layout.
  • Preferred knowledge on GHz application circuits, amplifiers.
  • Familiarity with common lab tools (e.g. soldering iron, Volt meters, Oscilloscope, etc.)
