Summary
Skyworks is seeking a self-motivated Director Product Line Manager with P&L experience to lead the RF Automotive and Infrastructure business unit in Woburn, Massachusetts, or Irvine, California.
Reporting directly to the Vice President of the Analog product lines for the DAS business unit, the right candidate will have P&L management responsibility and a broad skill set with the ability to engage with and motivate cross-functional teams to improve processes and achieve desired results.
The Director Product Line Management will manage the entire RF Infrastructure and Automotive product portfolio, communicate and facilitate relationships with the Sales and Marketing teams, and drive technology and product development with internal teams, including planning through production, release, and end-of-product life.
Responsibilities
- Sets the RF Infrastructure and Automotive’s strategic directions and drives the P&L for double-digit yearly profitable growth
- Interacts regularly with finance to review product cost models and ensure that new product introduction (NPI) projects meet BU KPIs for revenue and profitability
- Identify new technical strategies for staying one step ahead of the competition, prepare research, communication materials, and presentations for the senior leadership detailing operational performance, KPIs, and investment needs
- Collaborates closely with marketing and sales teams to design compelling new products and solutions across diverse customers while maximizing return on R&D investments
- Provides insight into customer issues and troubleshooting of parts by a deep understanding of the application and the ecosystem
- Coaches and mentors direct reports to identify high-potential future leaders
- Leads and fosters a culture of continuous improvement, employee engagement, open communications, high morale, and engagement.
- Gives people the opportunity and empowerment to grow and achieve results through supported development and coaching

Requirements
- Minimum BSEE with 10+ years of experience in semiconductor
- An accountable leader with excellent analytical problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Outstanding organization and supervisory skills
- Ability to work and thrive in a cross-functional team environment
- Experience in strategic planning and tactical execution
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing
- Knowledge of IATF Qualification
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $160,600 - $318,500 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
