Executive Assistant


Provides a wide range of high-level, confidential administrative support services to the Skyworks CEO and the executive staff. The primary responsibilities include such tasks as preparing reports and presentations, screening calls, arranging meetings, handling information requests, and coordinating projects that may involve working with all levels of internal management and staff. The executive assistant will also be responsible for managing calendars, travel and meetings. Directs activity of other administrative staff members.  Manages Board of Director support activities to include scheduling/managing logistics of Board meetings, managing meeting minutes, managing travel, sending materials for review prior to meetings, fielding general queries from Board members, and setting up dinners/events.  Privy to confidential information and as such, requires diplomacy and discretion.


Roles and Responsibilities


• Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO including: managing calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence that is sometimes confidential; and arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, and agendas

• Plans, coordinates and ensures the CEO's schedule is followed and respected.

• Communicates directly, and on behalf of the CEO, with Board members, and others.

• Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.

• Provides support for other senior management staff.

• Works closely and effectively with the CEO to keep him well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.

• Completes critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach, including drafting acknowledgement letters, personal correspondence, and other tasks.

• Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.

• Assists board members with travel arrangements, lodging, and meal planning as needed

• Maintains discretion and confidentiality in relationships with all board members

• Adheres to compliance with applicable rules and regulations set in bylaws regarding board and board committee matters, including advance distribution of materials before meetings in electronic/paper format.

• Assists in coordinating the agenda of senior management team meetings and off-sites

• Edits and completes first drafts for written communications to external/internal audiences

Efficient, organized and resourceful

Flexible, able to establish priorities and juggle competing tasks

Strong interpersonal skills to deal with many different people

Strong decision making skills, verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail

Strong skills in MS Office including PowerPoint and Excel; Experience with Diligent software a plus

Minimum of 5 years supporting executive level staff in a fast paced corporate environment

Has extremely strong writing and editing skills
