About the job
We are seeking a highly motivated intern / Co-Op to join our Sourcing team. Our team manages the business supply chain and capacity for NPI support activities for the PCBs and Passive Components. This role will run NPI forecasting, Planning, Supply Chain process improvement, and partial procurement function to meet our tight project roadmap. Our team supports engineering Quick Turn activities by engaging with the Engineering teams, material suppliers, Operations teams, the PCB and Passive manufacturing teams to drive delivery targets. Communication and alignment are essential in our time critical roles.
What You'll Be Doing
- Work with suppliers to drive the Printed Circuit Board delivery schedule to be used by the Engineering Teams in order to validate and launch our products.
- Review project timelines and handle risk buys efficiently with just-in-time methodology.
- Proactively engage and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams regarding schedules, cost, and other project details.
- Track and update full-path NPI ordering status (from order placement to goods receiving) to requesters. Respond to inquiries about project status.
- Develop and monitor KPI to track performance, internal and external.
- Drive continuous improvement activities to improve the quality of our team tools and processes that will lead to efficiency and success.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate level student enrolled in university
- Engineering or Business major

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $26.00 - $47.50 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $22.50 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
