Job Description

The Supply Chain New Product Introduction Program Manager is responsible to create and maintain a feasible Master Plan Schedule in line with company goals and strategies to meet customer demand.  The NPI Supply Chain Program Manager will ensure alignment of supply to demand by driving production ramp readiness with cross-functional teams (Business Unit, Sourcing, Demand Management, Quality, Engineering and Factories) while accounting for risks, changes in schedule or demand to meet on time deliveries, key performance indicators and achieve the company’s stated financial targets.  The position will report to the Manager of Supply Chain and will drive supply improvement, resolve supply gaps and variances as well as prevent excess & obsolete in an extremely fast paced environment. The NPI SCM Program Manager coordinates several complex, cross-functional projects with a high level of detail to a timely, successful, and customer-oriented resolution. 

Primary Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
•    Sets up regular project update sessions with internal teams to understand product development status and identify planning risks, determine impact to supply and synthesize data into a lead lot schedule and production ramp. 
•    Lays out detailed critical path plans and time schedules, actively manages the required tasks, establishes mitigation plans in case of potential delays and implements as required.
•    Publishes a raw material and capacity feasible production ramp/Master Production Schedule on a weekly basis at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons.
•    Assesses demand trend, raw material shifts and capacity constraints to identify risks to the integrity and reliability of the published MPS and commitment to customers.  Prevents supply interruptions as well as avoids excess and obsolescence on raw material and finished goods inventory.
•    Communicates proactively and efficiently supply Vs demand stats update to various stakeholders across the organization to resolve any supply allocation situation and/or expedites needed. 
•    Collaborates closely with Demand Management, Sourcing, Procurement, Production Control, Quality and Engineering teams at the factories to drive MPS improvements or to follow up on concerns that might impact the supply flow (WIP status, yield, process, or performance issues).
•    Manages and maintains backlog CSDs in alignment to the latest supply plan.

•    BS or BA in a relevant field such as Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Project Management or equivalent.
•    9+ years of relevant experience in areas such as Supply Chain Planning, Project Management, New Product Introduction or related.
•    Experience with MRP, ERP, advance planning tool (SAP, Kinaxis Rapid Response is a plus).
•    Knowledge in manufacturing, planning processes, inventory analysis, forecast/demand.
•    Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects to a timely resolution with high degree of effectiveness.
•    Skill to produce a high-quality outcome on multiple projects on a fast paced, time constrained, resource restricted, complex logistics and high accuracy demanding environment.
•    Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed in-depth data analysis and present it into a high-level supply planning assessment with recommended actions.
•    Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
•    Ability to effectively work in a global cross-functional team environment.
•    Must have a strong interpersonal and relationship building skill.
•    A tangible passion to contribute, have a results-focused attitude, put in extra hours when needed.
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
