Overview
Skyworks Solutions Inc. is seeking a Principal Tax – International Tax Accountant to join our finance team. In this role you will work closely with tax management within the Finance organization. Activities includes global tax compliance and tax provision calculations, supporting global tax incentives, and worldwide corporate tax initiatives/planning. #LI-DB1
Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of international tax forms as well as non-US statutory tax returns
- Maintain and update tax calculation models including Global Intangible Low-taxed income, Foreign Derived Tangible Income, Subpart F, Base Erosion & Anti-Abuse Tax, Corporate Alternative Minimal Tax and Foreign Tax Credits
- Assist in the review of annual transfer pricing documentation and transfer pricing entries
- Preparation of Pillar II calculations and assist in tax modeling and analysis
- Assist in the review of foreign provision calculations and maintain the foreign deferred support
- Assist in the preparation of informational returns including FBAR
- Perform tax research and keep up with pending legislation for tax benefits and risks
- Assist with tax related matters of M&A and other tax initiatives or ad hoc projects
Required Skills and Abilities
- Understanding of corporate tax knowledge and applicability of tax rules for international tax reporting/compliance
- Experience leading and managing complex international tax matters involving multiple jurisdictions
- Strong analytical and Excel modelling and experiences using tax software
- Ability to conduct tax research and strong learning ability
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work well independently as well as with team members
- Ability to effectively communicate across all levels in the business
- A commitment to accuracy and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other related area + 5 years related experience
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Preferred candidates have a current CPA license and/or Master’s degree in accounting or tax
- Public corporate tax accounting experience a plus
- Over 5 years of corporate tax experience with progressive responsibilities
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $89,100 - $172,100 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
