Summary

If so, you might be a great fit for Skyworks! In this position, you will work with business analysts and stakeholders to analyze business/enterprise requirements, guide strategic cloud design and architectural decisions, draft design documents, and oversee code development (and in some cases write code) to create new and migrate existing applications.

Responsibilities

 

  • Support the team in problem analysis and solution design, advising on appropriate Azure service selection. 
  • Support and contribute to the modernization strategies for migration of existing applications to the cloud. 
  • Draft design/architecture artifacts to document the implementation details of business requirements and to provide software requirements to other developers. 
  • Work with the business analyst / project manager to allocate requirements to Agile sprints so that the team might accomplish work in phases. 
  • Provide guidance to less-experienced software engineers and/or contract software engineers. 
  • As needed, perform code reviews, exercise regression testing, and conduct user-acceptance testing. 
  • Provide expertise to multiple projects and tasks. 
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology. 

Required Qualifications

 

6+ years relevant experience with BS in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience 

 

Technical Skills

 

Successful candidates will possess these technical skills: 

 

  • Experience developing applications to run in cloud services such as Azure; containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), PaaS/SaaS   
  • Hands-on, practical experience working with the Microsoft technology stack, including C#, MVC, .NET Core, SQL Server, IIS, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Git 
  • Experience designing, developing RESTful web services 
  • Solid working knowledge of web development tools as used in MVC web development (e.g., Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax) 
  • Solid understanding of SQL programming with the ability to implement CRUD data access layers in C# code and in stored procedures 
  • Knowledge of software engineering principles and methods including Agile/Scrum   
  • Experience with DevOps and Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) methods 

Additional Skills

 

These additional skills are considered a “plus”: 

 

  • Knowledge of the M365 Suite (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps, Azure Logic Apps, SharePoint Online) 
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor industry
  • Skill with other databases/programming languages (Oracle, Java, PHP, R, Python)
