Summary

The Sr. Demand Analyst will algorithmically manage an SKU level forecast, and deliver data insights that improve forecast quality, timeliness, and accuracy. This is a hands-on data worker who manages an algorithmic demand forecast and works with Sales and Marketing to develop consensus plans by identifying and resolving input signal variances. The Demand Analyst will orchestrate the alignment of Supply to Demand by partnering with various functions (Supply Chain, Sourcing, Product Owners) to ensure that the company achieves stated financial goals. The successful candidate is a well-rounded individual who utilizes analytical, communication and leadership skills to deliver results. They can quickly recognize disruptions and deviations from expected results and can promptly resolve any issue. The candidate will report to the Sr. Manager of Regional Demand Management and drive teams indirectly throughout Skyworks in an extremely fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
•    Regional / End Customers level demand management
•    Manage a revenue plan (demand plan) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons
•    Manage forecast algorithms for a specific group of End Customers and work on algorithm improvements
•    Drive SKU level Bookings and Backlog Alignment to Quarterly Revenue Plan numbers
•    Deliver Billings at Quarter Close on target to corporate financial goals
•    Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data and evaluate results
•    Present data-driven insights and revenue scenarios to management and Demand Forecast stakeholders
•    Leverage relationships with Sales and Marketing to understand demand forecast drivers; utilize an analytical and data-driven approach to detect trends, patterns, and anomalies; leverage current and accurate information for all revenue plans
•    Monitor and manage POS inventory levels for distributors within the assigned regions
•    Identify gaps and document requirements which provide an improved Demand Forecasting process
•    Identify and document opportunities to deliver enhanced business outcomes through the integration of relevant market data and customer data
•    Working with Operations, drive fulfillment of all customer requirements
•    Drive resolution of supply issues and ensure fulfillment of customer requirements
•    Provide input to the Supply Planning organization to align inventory planning strategies
•    Work with Supply Planning to coordinate responses to customer expedite requests
•    Orchestrate supply chain support for sales and key customers within the region during escalations

Requirements

•    BS with 3+ years of experience in Demand Management, Demand Forecasting, Sales Forecasting, Customer Service, Data Analysis, Generating Reports, or equivalent
•    Strong statistical/mathematical abilities and algorithmic modeling capabilities
•    Understanding of programming languages and programmatic capabilities
•    Using software tools in a Forecasting process (algorithmic, statistical or equivalent)
•    Using technology tools in a demand planning process, for reporting, and collaborating with various stakeholders
•    Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into high-level analysis
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills
•    Demonstrated leadership skills through collaboration across multiple functional groups, at various levels
•    In-depth knowledge of forecasting and planning processes: sales planning, demand planning, supply planning, new product introduction, business planning, S&OP process, or equivalent
•    Ability to work across different parts of the organization: sales, marketing, supply chain, finance
•    A tangible passion for winning/contributing, put in extra hours when needed
•    Experience working with Key Customers/External Clients
•    Ability to work in, and thrive in, a global team environment
•    Business domain experience in supported process areas
•    SAP MM/SD; JDA S&OP, Alteryx, PowerBI, SQL, Python, R or equivalent
•    Ability to travel internationally when needed
