Job Description

In this position, you will be joining the successful and energetic Broad Markets Marketing team at Skyworks. You will be responsible for driving growth and sustained success in the Automotive Market Segment. The scope of responsibilities includes leading a team in new product definition, business case generation, external product evangelization, pricing strategy/negotiation, and associated go to market strategies. This position has substantial responsibility and visibility at the highest levels of the company.   Additional activities include overall Automotive market segment strategy (Market modeling, tracking segment trends and dynamics, competitive threat analysis and R&D investment recommendations). This is a key position driving our continued growth in the Automotive Segment by expanding our content footprint by leveraging the broad product portfolio of Skyworks.The candidate will report to the Vice President of Broad Markets Marketing and will drive multi-faceted teams throughout Skyworks in an extremely fast-paced environment to ensure that world-class product definition and the achievement of leading performance.  You will work collaboratively with the Sales, Systems Engineering, Application Engineering and internal Business Units to develop winning product roadmaps and associated strategies. Key performance metrics include accretive revenue growth, market share expansion and content diversification.

Responsibilities and Experience

Responsibilities
Overall market segment strategy and business plan
New product and roadmap definition ensuring that product justifications are well researched and structured to gain maximum ROI for Skyworks and market penetration growth
Business cases generation, MRD creation, market launch plans and portfolio management
Strategic business planning including R&D investment recommendations
Market segment TAM/SAM modeling, trend analysis and market dynamics
Drive customer engagements & build world-class customer relationships 
Deliver a product collateral and positioning strategy to ensure maximum success for released products
Be the face of the Broad Markets Marketing team to the field, customers, and business units 
Product promotion, training, pricing and go to market strategies.
Defining account strategies for your customer base; driving engagement through the discovery, evaluation, negotiation and design win process
Sales Training Material Generation and Presentation
Ensure timely update of forecasts, pricing strategies and quote process compliance
Set team’s goals & KPIs
Experience
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities and who finds satisfaction in being accountable to accomplishing results quickly and accurately.  Experience with RF semiconductor market and working in a global, matrixed organization is preferred.
Experience
MSEE, MBA or PhD with 15 years of applicable experience with:
5+ years of experience managing a team in business development or marketing and
5+ years of technical/engineering/product development experience specifically
Technical understanding of Power and Isolation products for Electric Vehicle systems
RF technical background with deep understanding of RF Front End design, systems or app engineering
Well versed in RF Technologies (Cellular, WiFi, BT/BLE, GNSS, etc
Excellent communications, demonstrated leadership skills and a passion to win/contribute
Self-driven and directed, with a strong sense of ownership
Business acumen and experience in a customer facing role
Strong sense of customer orientation and effectiveness
Ability to work in, and thrive in, a team environment
Proven ability to work with and influence executives and senior marketing and engineering management
Proven leadership capabilities
Team player mentality & self-motivated
Previous Automotive Marketing experience
Strong sense of customer orientation and effectiveness
Willing to travel up to 25% of the time
