Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Analysis Expert to manage and optimize our inventory operations, world wide. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience working in the Semiconductor industry with SAP inventory management system, and the ability to forecast demand accurately.  In addition there is a need for direct experience working with suppliers on cost negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze Inventory Levels: Monitor and analyze inventory levels to determine reorder points and safety stock levels.
  • Forecast Demand: Use data analysis to predict future inventory needs and prevent overstocking or stockouts.
  • Conduct Audits: Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Optimize Inventory: Develop strategies to minimize costs, optimize efficiency, and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with engineering, production, and procurement teams to align inventory levels with business needs.
  • Prepare Reports: Generate and present inventory reports to management.
  • Implement Policies: Assist in the development and implementation of inventory management policies and procedures.
  • Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors to manage inventory needs and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Cost reduction: Work with Original Equipment Manufactures (OEM) and 2nd source suppliers on cost negotiations

Required Experience and Skills

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in inventory management or a similar role, with 5+ years of experience in the Semiconductor manufacturing environment
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in SAP inventory management software and data analysis tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven history of working in a global environment 
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and issue resolution.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $89,100$172,100 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan, and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock.
