Sr Manager, Enterprise HR/Payroll Lead

 

This position reports to the Skyworks’ IT organization supporting our HR and Payroll teams with specific customer support for our US, Canada, Singapore, Mexicali and Japan Payroll department. Systems such as SuccessFactors, SAP Cloud Platform Integration, SAP Payroll (cloud), Workforce Software (Time & Attendance) and SAP HR are the primary focus for this position. This position is the techno-functional subject matter expert in HR system Integrations and interacts with Payroll, HR Technology, and other internal IT teams.

Responsibilities
•    Manage and support the HR / Payroll IT team.
•    Lead the management of SuccessFactors, Workforce Software, EC Payroll and SAP S4/HANA integrations to/from internal and external systems. This will include working with external vendors, coordinating with business partners, project managers, and IT teams.
•    Present solutions and options to project teams and other stakeholders adapting style to both technical and non-technical audiences.
•    Configure and develop SAP Payroll within prescribed SAP guidelines in support of regulatory and business requirements. 
•    Collaborate with HR Technology & Payroll leadership to define roadmaps and ensure that priorities are cross-functionally aligned.
•    Work closely with functional teams (HR and Payroll) to understand and transform business requirements into scalable and manageable solutions. 
•    Proactively recommend technical solutions to improve current processes and to solve for business challenges.
•    Coordinate with external vendors, AMS, project managers, and IT teams to ensure projects and initiatives are managed appropriately. 
•    Analyze integration errors, troubleshooting and implement resolutions. 
•    Troubleshoot and advise on processes such as P2P integrations, Annual Tax Adjustments, Year-end processes, off-cycle workbench etc. 
•    Resolve simple to very complex integration and implementation issues.
•    Partner with team members and stakeholders working in different time zones in US, MX, SG, JP, and international countries.
•    Drive technical conversations with vendors as well as internal and external development teams.
Experience and Skills 
•    Solid understanding of the SAP HR & Payroll modules 
•    Good understanding of BSI Tax Factory and Tax Profile Factory
•    Demonstrated understanding and experience with Support Pack / Note analysis and application and Note Interpretation and analysis on the application of SAP notes and upgrades. 
•    Extensive experience with configuration of wage types, schemas, rules, etc. 
•    Experience with Payroll Control Center 
•    Deep understanding of integrations to EC Payroll and S4.
•    Experience with BTP and system integrations
•    Master’s degree in Information Technology or in a related technical field (e.g., Engineering or Science) or equivalent education, technical training, and experience.
•    Minimum 12 years of experience supporting SAP Payroll. 
•    Certification in SAP HR/Payroll considered a plus. 

 

 

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $122,000$231,000 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
