Job Description

In this position, you will deliver data-driven and user-friendly solutions supporting Sales, Marketing and Strategic Business Planning leveraging innovative system and process design.  Your work will require interaction with many different groups across the organization at many different levels to develop improvements focusing on efficiency and ease of use. Your focus is on creating custom solutions utilizing established software systems across all corners of the Sales and Marketing organization and processes that extend to other organizations (internal and external).  You will write business requirement documents, functional specifications, and manage the data architecture design, testing, and documentation of these processes.  The ideal candidate has an eye for efficiency, an ease of communication, and a knack for productivity, and will easily use all of these to make a positive impact at Skyworks. 
Responsibilities:

  • Own documenting and developing our strategic forecasting processes.
  • Creation of a Market Model framework that supports Long Term Forecasting across all Skyworks Businesses 
  • Develop, test and implement self-service reporting solutions based on MSFT Power BI for Pricing, Strategic Forecasting and other key Business Operations processes.
  • Institute a process/model to support systematic checks and updates of pricing for tactical and strategic forecasts.
  • Analysis of Design Registration and Quote data and processes to enhance efficiency by improving data reliability and decreasing redundancy
  • Support Management Teams with Reporting Dashboards for Key Functions including KPIs and Long Term Forecasting
  • Manage and Maintain Customer and Material Attributes to Continuously Align with Business Structure and Priorities

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal, with technical resources as well as non-technical users and management
  • Top-notch analytical and problem-solving skills, proven across a diverse set of projects
  • Ability to work independently to develop and solve problems 
  • Familiar with Forecasting Processes within a Manufacturing Business
  • Knowledge of the Sales Process including experience with distributors, direct customers, and other sales channels
  • Comfortable working on a diverse, multi-site team
  • Demonstrated understanding of Pricing and Cost Structures and their impact on the P&L
  • Experience creating reports in Business Intelligence Systems (Power BI preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, computer science or a relevant field
  • 5 years + of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including VBA) and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 Suite (e.g., Teams, Power Apps, Power BI)
  • Experience with data modeling and data analytics, preferably with knowledge of SQL, Alteryx or similar data ETL tools
