Job Description

The Supply Planning Sr. Manager reports to the Global supply planning organization, leads the Supply Planning team, collaborates the Demand fulfillment functions, including Supply Planning, Capacity Assessment, Customer Service, Sourcing and Logistics to ensure the satisfactory delivery of Goods per our customer’s requirement. Ensures the execution of the company’s strategy, Financial Targets attainment and the integrity of the Supply chain.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Focused on planning execution and working with operations to maximize and optimize internal and external suppliers.
  • Initiates, manages and maintains discussions with Demand Management and BU Leaders to align execution strategy and expectations.
  • Leads integration and cross functional communication with internal / external suppliers to achieve desired targets.
  • Support deployment of the Supply Chain Roadmap and project plans to improve predictability and stability across the Supply Chain.
  • Drives a culture of continuous improvement in his Supply Planning team and promotes the development of sustainable processes.
  • Measure and track actual performance in support to business and functional strategies
  • Provides guidance to the Operations and Sourcing teams thru the weekly MPS and ensure the integrity of MRP output and dissemination
  • Enforce capacity alignment, including quality guidelines.
  • Frame direct reports and responsibility to the team ensuring training and knowledge sharing

 

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum education level of: Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 12+ years of professional experience with a minimum of 6 years in supply or demand planning and high-volume manufacturing.
  • Experience managing highly effective teams, cultivating new leaders, and helping professionals grow and advance their careers.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large amount of data, identify business opportunities and drive improvements cross functionally.
  • Strong presentation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Expert skill level in Excel and MS office suite and experience in SAP ERP and Advance Planning tools, Kinaxis Rapid Response is a plus
  • Proven capabilities of creative problem solving, using software systems for processing, filtering, and presenting large quantities of data
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $122,000$231,000 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
