Job Description

Skyworks is seeking an experienced EM (Electromagnetics) expert to develop automation solutions for Multi-Chip Module (MCM) design flow. In this role, you will lead the development, validation, and maintenance of EM simulation flows with associated EDA tools. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency improvement in our design processes.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop automation solutions to support MCM designs for EM simulations with seamless integration of EM models
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design teams, EDA tool vendors to drive innovation and efficiency improvement in EM design flow 
  • Manage solution’s life cycle from creating vision of design flow to soliciting simulation requirements. Communicate ongoing development plans with the design community.  
  • Manage project environment for SiP module design, including design sharing and library access.
  • Drive adoption of the best practices and methodologies for EM simulations 
  • Conduct rigorous testing and debugging of EDA tools to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Provide technical support and training to internal design teams

 

Job Requirements:     

  • MSEE or MSCS and 12 years experience with 10 years of experience working in Electronic Design Automation (EDA) for RF/Analog IC design.
  • Extensive experience in EM simulation tools, especially with HFSS.
  • Experience with SiP Module and EVB layout process. 
  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso & Keysight ADS 
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Perl, Linux Shell Scripts
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $139,100$278,300 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
