Job Description

Consumer Sr. Marketing Manager
In this position, you will be joining the successful and energetic Broad Markets Marketing team at Skyworks.  You will be responsible for growing an existing portfolio of business within the Connected Home/Networking end product within the consumer’s carrier segment.  This corporate marketing position represents all products and business unit interests as they apply to the Connected Home/Consumer segment.  The scope of responsibilities include new product definition, business case generation, promotion, pricing and associated go to market strategies.   Additional supporting activities include overall market segment TAM/SAM modeling, tracking segment trends and dynamics, competitive threat analysis and R&D investment recommendations. This is a key position driving our continued growth in the Consumer segment by expanding our content footprint by leveraging the broad product portfolio of Skyworks.


You will work collaboratively with the field sales and application engineering and internal Business Units to develop winning product roadmaps and associated strategies.  The Consumer Market Segment Manager has overall responsibility for driving product promotion and associated training including product collateral and sales presentations.  Key performance metrics include accretive revenue growth, market share expansion and content diversification.You will guide the Connected Home/Networking market segment development. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Strong contribution to overall market segment business plan
Ensure that product justifications are well researched, justified and structured to gain maximum ROI for Skyworks and market penetration growth
Drive product collateral and product support documentation for customer facing activities
Set Roadmaps and  business direction, be involved in customer  / market development activities through a close working relationship with sales activities
Defining account strategies for your customer base; driving engagement through the discovery, evaluation, negotiation and design win process
Work across corporate functions and business units as required
You should possess an M.B.A.  / B.S.E.E. with eight or more years of marketing / business development in the semiconductor industry is preferred.

Strong sense of customer orientation and effectiveness
Be capable of driving broad alignment and collaboration
Demonstrated ability to confront tough issues and contribute to collaborative solutions
Previous wireless/Wi-Fi/Networking experience preferred
Willing to travel up to 25% of time



The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $134,200$266,100 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
