Job Description

This Product Market leader with drive the market research, product definition and roadmap of solutions addressing next generation True Wireless Audio, Gaming and Theatre Grade multi-point audio solutions leveraging acoustic focused AI capabilities, world class mixed-signal circuit design and advanced process and package technologies developed at Skyworks. 

Requires thorough knowledge of audio signal chains in a variety segments like Consumer Devices, Home Automation, Gaming, Wearables and Automotive Infotainment. Working knowledge of wireless audio solutions, MEMS process and acoustics are a plus. Prior experience supporting Tier 1 customers in the consumer market is also a plus.
This person will work closely with the dedicated engineering teams responsible for analog/mixed-signal and digital design, system architecture, applications engineering as well as test engineering and silicon evaluation groups.
 
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

Overall market segment strategy and business planning
Drive new product roadmap and definition ensuring that product justifications are well researched, justified and structured to gain maximum ROI for Skyworks and market penetration growth
Product proposals/business cases to support the audio roadmap
Set Roadmaps and business direction, be involved in customer / market development activities through a close working relationship with sales
Strategic business planning including R&D investment recommendations through TAM/SAM modeling, competitive benchmarking and market trend and dynamics monitoring
Defining and drive account strategies for your customer base; driving engagement through the discovery, evaluation, negotiation and design win process
Be the face of the Broad Markets Marketing team to the field sales team, customers, and business units 
Set goals & KPIs to monitor progress and measure success
Sales Training Material Generation and Presentation
Work across corporate functions and business units, as required
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple competing priorities and who finds satisfaction in being accountable to accomplishing results quickly and accurately. Experience with mixed-signal, SOC based embedded semiconductor solution marketing is a must.

Position Requirements

BS in Electrical Engineering or related engineering field, MBA or financial analytics exposure
10 years of product marketing of embedded SoC and firmware solutions 
5 years of audio SoC and custom audio solution product marketing 
Well versed in audio technologies (Microcontrollers and mixed-signal transceivers and radios, DSP signal conditioning, AI/TensorFlow, MEMS, and audio amplifiers)
Proven track record of supporting audio solutions in Consumer and/or Industrial and/or Automotive Segments at Tier 1 customers
Team player mentality & self-motivated
Strong sense of customer orientation and effectiveness 
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well collaboratively with all levels of internal management and staff, Demonstrated ability to confront tough issues and contribute to collaborative solutions.
