Description
Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a thoughtful and results-driven Manager of Financial Reporting. This role serves as an integral part of the external reporting process by enhancing, implementing, and managing our periodic SEC reporting, managing our audit relationships, and contributes to driving strategic initiatives across the organization. Responsibilities
SEC & External Reporting
- Manage the preparation and timely completion of quarterly and annual SEC filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy)
- Prepare and consolidate financial statements, including equity rollforwards, cash flow statements, and footnote disclosures (including completing the GAAP and SEC disclosure checklists to ensure compliance with required disclosures)
- Maintain reporting timelines and monitor progress against key milestones
- Monitor new accounting standards and lead implementation efforts
- Draft and maintain accounting policy documentation and technical memos
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX 404 requirements
- Partner with FP&A, Legal, Tax, Investor Relations, and other teams to align on reporting matters
- Support valuation and reporting of stock-based compensation (ASC 718)
- Respond to management inquiries and support ad hoc reporting requests
Audit & Compliance
- Serve as a liaison with external auditors, coordinating quarterly reviews and annual audits
- Maintain strong internal controls and documentation supporting the disclosure process
Leadership & Process Improvement
- Supervise and develop offsite Compliance Team, fostering accountability and continuous learning
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and enhance data accuracy
- Leverage tools such as Workiva, SAP S4 Hana, and PowerBi to drive automation and efficiency
- Ensure consistent in-office presence to foster collaboration, mentorship, and cross-functional alignment (5 days per week).
Required Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA license or candidacy preferred
- 10 years of relevant experience, including public accounting (Big 4 or mid-tier audit) and financial reporting at a public company
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and internal controls
- Experience managing audits and working with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Power Point) and financial reporting platforms (Workiva)
- Ability to communicate clearly across diverse audiences and influence stakeholders
- Comfort working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
Desired Experience and Skills
- Familiarity with the semiconductor industry
- Experience with SAP, Workiva, E*TRADE EEO or similar systems
- Multilingual skills (e.g. Spanish) are a plus but not required

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $114,400 - $220,200 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others. Employees are eligible to participate in an incentive plan, and certain roles are also eligible for additional awards, including recognition and stock.
