Assembly Specialist
Seeking a team-oriented Test Technician with a positive attitude to join the Defense and Space unit within Skyworks. The Test Technician plays a key role in ensuring high performance and high quality products are manufactured to customers for aerospace, defense, medical, extreme industrial and high-reliability markets and applications. This position requires a person with the ability to communicate and interface with different departments for test issues and corrective actions and be a self-motivated team player with a strong desire to succeed in a fast paced operations environment.
Primary Responsibilities
• Perform electrical and environmental testing of semiconductors and some assembly-related activities, including high-volume component burn-in of serialized devices
• Set up test equipment using hand tools or automatic test methods
• Document test results and maintain records for non-conforming parts
• Perform simple repairs and/or component removal or replacement
Requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent/Higher Experience Required
• 5 years minimum experience in semiconductor processing
• Hands-on experience with electrical testing and production lot processing at MIL-STD quality or similar (such as AS9100, J-STD, or other) preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills (Windows environment and Microsoft Office Preferred)
• Ability to work under a stereo microscope and microscope probe stations
• Good hand eye coordination, dexterity, and basic clean room proficiency
• Familiar with MIL-STD visual inspection criteria
• Meticulous attention to detail and able to understand work related documents
• Highly motivated, hands on, cooperative, team player, and positive attitude a must

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $46,500 - $81,500 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
