Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems. Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. May also review vendor capability to support product development.
Long Description
RF Engineer
Seeking a highly technical and motivated RF Engineer for IC product development, manufacturing, and support, for receivers and transmitters in high-reliability Aerospace and Defense applications. The RF Engineer will be working with engineers across multiple functional teams and is responsible for the design, analysis, simulation, verification, documentation, support, and release to production of RF IC’s.

The RF Engineer works with Customers, Sales Channels, and Business Development to define product strategies and requirements. Works with cross functional teams to develop manufacturing capabilities, New Product Introduction, and operational execution.
Minimum Requirements:
- BSEE with 5+ years of experience in RF product development and design
- Good understanding of RF theory including components, circuits, and systems
- Hands-on RF test experience
- Excellent communication skills
- A passion to win/contribute
- Ability to work/thrive in a team environment

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $87,600 - $167,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
