Job Description
Staff RF Engineer
Seeking a highly technical, motivated and experienced Engineer for RF component design and RF circuit design support, specifically with expertise in system, circuit and component design for Receivers and Transmitters in high reliability Aerospace and Defense applications.
Responsibilities:
In this hands-on leadership role, the RF Engineer will be responsible for planning, design, analysis, simulation, verification, documentation, support, and release to production of RF devices including RF-IC, and Multi-Chip Modules (MCM’s). Products will address requirements for wireless Defense and Space applications and other wireless communications. The RF Engineer will play a key role in defining and prioritizing our product roadmap and resulting engineering and operational capabilities and needs by interfacing with Customers as well as Business Development, Sales and Marketing.
This position requires the candidate to be able to work with a team of engineers to effectively plan and execute RF IC circuit and module designs. The candidate must be able to perform RF design through simulations within Cadence Spectre RF, HP ADS, MW Office, HSPICE, or PSPICE. Must have the ability to schedule, manage and execute a project to meet deadlines and communicate program and technical goals or issues to management and customers.

Minimum Requirements:
-BSEE required with 7+ years of experience in RF product development and design
-Excellent communication skills
-Demonstrated leadership skills
-Excellent organization and supervisory skills

-Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
-Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and packaging
-High-Reliability product engineering experience and knowledge of MIL-PRF 38534 and MIL-PRF 38535 desirable

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $124,400 - $235,700 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
