Sales Account Manager

Location: Munich, Germany (Home office based)

 

Skyworks is looking to further enhance its European sales team with the addition of a Sales Account Manager. Primary responsibilities will be front line sales management, selling Skyworks’ extensive product portfolio into both Direct and Channel customer base throughout the EMEA region. The position will report to the EMEA Senior Sales Manager.

Skyworks product portfolio is extensive and diverse; the range covers the following applications:

 

  • IoT markets, Bluetooth Low Energy, Zigbee, LoRA, Sigfox for connected home and smart city.
  • WiFi, 802.11ac and 802.11ax for Networking, Set-Top- Box and Access Points.
  • Automotive, Cellular telematics, V2X, RKE and Infotainment.
  • Infrastructure, Base station, Small Cell and Connectivity.
     

Skyworks is a specialist in MCM (Multi Chip Module) Technologies to create state of the art ‘Front End Modules’, Integrated TRx modules and ‘System In Package’ solutions.

The role responsibility will cover all of this technology and focus on targeted markets such as: Automotive, Smart Energy / Connected home, Consumer applications, Medical, Military or Wireless data.

 

Job Requirements

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of the Semiconductor market including customers, markets, applications and competitors.

  • Strong Sales/Commercial Customer Service Skill
  • Consultative sales approach
  • Self-starter with initiative and will to succeed
  • A natural communicator developing relationships internally and externally.
  • Polished presentation skills.
  • Ability to solve basic technical issues or seek proper resource
  • Market aware and commercially focused
  • Additionally, a BS in Electrical / Electronic Engineering and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the semiconductor industry is preferred.


Key Objectives

  • Set Forecast and Hit Forecast
  • Business development at new and existing accounts across the EMEA region
  • Travel to support customer relationships (~40% travel)
  • Orchestrate Customer contracts for pricing and delivery
  • Providing Technical and Market feedback to the Business units
  • Answering front line Technical & Sales Requests
  • Assisting customer product Selection
  • Reporting on key Sales Channel Metrics
