Description
We are looking for a dedicated New Product Introduction (NPI) intern to support and assist our engineers to bring cutting-edge technologies from concept to production. This role offers exposure to cross-functional project management, data analysis, process improvement, and manufacturing operations, providing an excellent opportunity to build real-world engineering and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects for semiconductor products.
- Help prepare project documents, checklists, schedules, and reports.
- Coordinate sample movement and follow up with different teams on project activities.
- Track project status, milestones, and sample progress.
- Maintain and update records in company systems.
- Assist engineers in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
- Support quality checks, yield monitoring, and qualification activities.
- Participate in process improvement and standardization projects.
- Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, and Operations teams to solve day-to-day issues.
- Perform other administrative and project support tasks as assigne.
Required Experience and Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Computer Software or a related field.
- Interested in semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, or NPI activities.
- Fair knowledge with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Fair knowledge with Python or Programming.
- Good organizational and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to manage multiple tasks and pay attention to details.
- Interest in process improvement and problem-solving.
Desired Experience and Skills
- Python or programming.
- Excel VBA macro.
- Data compilation and simple excel formula.
- Basic SQL knowledge and Power BI.
