Job Description

Equipment Engineering Technician - Temporary/Contract position

DAY Shift: A1 (Su/M/T ~ Su/M/T/W) - (5:30 am-5:35 pm)

Base salary + Built in overtime

 

Skyworks is looking for seasoned Equipment technician to support our state-of-the art wafer fab manufacturing equipment with repairs, Preventive maintenance & troubleshooting in a designed area.

 

Who you are:

As an Equipment Engineering technician, you’ll be collaborating with cross-functional teams including operations, engineering, production, etc. and will be monitoring tool performance, schedule and perform preventive maintenance on assigned toolsets and use mechanical, electronic and software skills to troubleshoot equipment while operating under constant pressure inherent to a lean production facility. You will also be assisting with equipment installs, create and improve equipment procedures, increase tool uptime using problem solving and collaboration skills, thoroughly documenting all maintenance performed, tracking programs and reviewing maintenance procedures.


KEY QUALIFICATIONS

•2 years of experience as an equipment maintenance.
•Knowledge and understanding of basic electro-mechanical theory is a must have.
•Technical hands-on troubleshooting and repair experience with industrial scale electromechanical systems and subsystems.
•HS Diploma is a must! An Associate Degree in Electronics Technology (or similar discipline) is highly desired.
•Must have a strong mechanical aptitude with excellent equipment troubleshooting abilities and the dexterity required to assemble a variety of complex parts to very close tolerances.
•Must be able to work from detailed drawings, assembly diagrams, specifications and/or verbal instructions required to perform the job.
•Must be VERY quality focused and capable of working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and able to find quick solutions to immediate problems.
•Ability to work on complex assignments requiring judgment in resolving issues or making recommendations to the Engineering community
•Basic knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipments.
•Ability to move objects and service-related tools that may weigh up to 75 pounds; frequent stooping, bending squatting and kneeling are required to service and repair equipment
•Ability to read, write and communicate in English
