Description

As a Materials Facilities Technician, you will perform the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.  

Responsibilities:
•    Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items. 
•    Prepare goods, manifest, and maintain records of materials and hazardous materials to be shipped. 
•    Examine, stock and distribute materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines
•    Perform daily walk thru to check for items needing attention or safety issues in the chemical bunkers, production and chase areas.
•    Maintain chemical stock levels in bunkers, distributed cabinets and CDU unit, to include inventory control, ordering, receiving and distribution of chemicals.
•    Collect, segregate, triple rinse and dispose of empty chemical bottles.
•    Adjust chemical inventory for FIFO, restock chemical inventory and store overflow inventory.
•    Lift heavy items and utilize safety equipment as required.
•    Assist gas technicians as needed on gas bottle changes or cabinet/panel issues.
•    Maintain chemical inventory database.
•    Perform maintenance and repairs to chemical distribution units as required.
•    Generate and distribute chemical usage reports.
•    Perform minor maintenance and repair of various facilities systems and infrastructure as required.
•    Perform installations and adjustments of cleanroom equipment, furniture and systems as required.
•    Perform exterior maintenance and repairs as required.
•    Operate various vehicles and power machinery such as: golf carts, lift truck, pick-up truck and van along with the use of various powered and manual hand tools.
•    Ensure all health, safety and environmental guidelines and practices, including those related to waste and materials handling and disposal, are followed.
•    Support maintenance mechanics and facilities staff by performing light maintenance duties such as furniture moving, painting and cleaning, light construction and exterior clean-up. Works with outside contractors on facilities, equipment and systems repairs.
•    Other duties and tasks as needed.

Required Experience and Skills:
•    High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years chemical handling experience in a semiconductor or manufacturing environment.
•    Ability to be effective in fast paced environments and high-pressure situations.
•    Good written and verbal communication skills.
•    Ability to be a team player and interact effectively with a variety of professionals.
•    Must be able to read and understand SOP’s.
•    Must be able to read, write and understand English.
•    Must be able to lift 50lbs.
•    Exposed to indoor and outdoor climates.

 

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $22.88$40.00 per hour.. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
