Job Description


  • Primary Responsibilities:
    • Supports selection and acquisition of equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective to support fault detection roadmap deployment and sustaining
    • Supports installation and implementation of hardware/software utilized to support fault detection systems
    • Works with individual process engineers to select critical tool parameters and identify appropriate specs to implement in FDC system
    • Monitors all FDC parameters on all tools and helps in notification of appropriate people for any OOC parameters and follow up on OCAPs
    • Helps process engineering in continuous improvement and selection of FDC parameters and optimization of specs for each parameter
    • Provides technical support to the other engineers on FDC system utilization. Works closely with EE automation counterpart.

  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's of Science degree in a related technical field
    • Minimum of two years of relevant experience, preferably in high volume manufacturing
    • Experience with FDC systems a plus
    • Knowledge of statistics and statistical tools
    • Excellent interaction with engineering community
    • Knowledge of wafer manufacturing process
    • Familiarity with ISO requirements
    • Strong data mining and analysis knowledge
    • Systematic approach towards problem solving 
    • Effective time management: Adherence to schedule and prioritization
    • Ownership. Minimal supervision required, stays on top assignments
    • Continuous improvement mindset and knowledge of continuous improvement techniques such as SPC, DOE, FMEA, statistical data analysis, Six Sigma, etc.
    • Drive for continuous improvement of skills
    • Team player, be able to team up with all departments and/or individuals. Able to guide/mentor other team members
