Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY: Performs planning and scheduling functions involved with coordinating products and materials through various production phases. Implements planned production schedules, labor loading and capacity requirements. Reviews schedules to determine materials and parts requirements to ensure materials are available according to schedules.

Planner/Scheduler
The scheduler-planner will schedule and provide daily tracking for qualification projects deemed strategic to customer satisfaction or Skyworks production. This includes CQE projects, New Fab projects, and new Assembly projects that are identified by Supervisors.
The scheduler-planner will create project schedules for new qualifications, evaluations, and extensions received.
The planner/scheduler will input package level tests into the package qual log and assign the projects to package technicians daily.
The planner/scheduler will set ATE test priority for the ATE Team based on input from the group manager and priorities set during qualification review meetings.
The planner/scheduler will set HTOL priority based on input from the group manager and priorities set during qualification review meetings.
Job Requirements
•    High School Diploma or equivalent.
      o    AA degree or some college is a plus.
•    Excellent written communication skills and organizational skills are essential.
•    Experience with Microsoft Excel is required.
      o    Able to create and understand formulas.
