Position Summary

Skyworks is looking for a Business Systems Analyst who will play an integral role in building out frameworks and charting within Fault Detection Classification (FDC) software. If you have experience working with an enterprise FDC application, we want to hear from you!

As part of Skyworks’ global operations,  the wafer manufacturing group supports the high-volume production of our wafers to meet the growing demand for our solutions. This team is committed to delivering high-quality, cost-effective, and differentiated products utilizing GaAs HBT and pHEMT technologies, in addition to supporting other fast-emerging processes. Our team members work closely with all organizations within Skyworks to deliver superior performance in a fast-paced environment.  By joining our wafer manufacturing team, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact the company’s growth and success. 

As a Business System Analyst, you'll be coordinating with Process Engineers, Equipment Engineers, and Equipment Operators to identify and build fault detection classification (FDC) plans. Also, you'll write up user case flowchart/diagrams after collaborating with tool operators and process engineers on effective automation processing for production. You'll build the necessary FDC reporting items in the established FDC software application, which includes building application dictionaries, charting, and implementing both soft and hard interdiction to tools via particular software API’s.

 

As a Business System Analyst, you'll be coordinating with Process Engineers, Equipment Engineers, and Equipment Operators to identify and build fault detection classification (FDC) plans. Key Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with an enterprise FDC application
  • Experience and troubleshooting skills working with semi-conductor equipments
  • Experience with Tool fault detection schemes
  • Ability to identify issues resulting from mechanical automation, power, temperature, composition and pressure faults. 
  • Well versed with Fault detection classification (FDC) methodologies
  • Basic networking and serial communication set up, SECS/GEM communication
  • Tool simulation interaction as well as troubleshooting and debugging tool communication errors on networks
  • Experience with manufacturing enterprise systems (MES) as well as have Agile project management skills
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field

Day to day Responsibilities

As a Busines System Analyst, you'll be:

 

  • Collaberating with process engineers and equipment engineers on the utilization of fault detection classification (FDC).
  • Coordinating with tool vendors and their support staff
  • Performing the following fault detection items
    • Setting up the Acquisition Dictionaries
    • Creating charts in FDC software
    • Identifying and set trigger points for alarm processing in FDC software
    • Completing enterprise software upgrades
    • Setting up reports that validate tool is within process limits
    • Setting up messaging instructions for both soft and hard interdiction to both tool and manufacturing enterprise system (MES) via API’s or SECS/GEM messaging to tool
    • Training others in reporting and charting
  • Setting up computers along with data acquisition software for FDC
  • Setting up device drivers for external sensors to capture associated information
  • Working with tool vendor to establish communication between tool and data acquisition/FDC software
  • Providing use case diagrams and flow charts for tool operator automation processing
  • Working with semiconductor tool simulation to identify misreporting information
  • Entering tool data information into appropriate databases
  • Coordinating underway projects through Agile project management system
