Description
Responsibilities
- Provide field applications engineering and front-end support
- Anticipate and understand customers' technical and business requirements and relate it to Skyworks' products and service capability, provide Skyworks' product solution and its value to meet customers' needs.
- Execute sales strategy, beat competition and achieve or exceed the design win target.
- Assist in launching new products/service and promotion plan. - new project identification, measure EVB with customer together and provide analysis report against competitors
- Work with sales team to support/ participate promotion seminars, trade shows and make presentation to customers.
- Assist customers to solve technical and application problems; refer to other appropriate teams / departments as and when required.
- Provide training on company technologies and products to customers and distributors.
- Prospect, qualify and document design-in opportunities and threats.
- Maintain complete contact/company profile database, action item tracking system.
- Ensure timely submittal of internal and external activity reports.
- Plan & report weekly/monthly design-in activities on customer activities and competition.
Required Experience and Skills
• BSEE or MSEE
• At least 8 years of relevant Field Application Engineering experience in FAE, AE or R&D engineers.
• Understanding of Timing technologies: PLL, jitter specs, synchronization protocols, clock tree design. Power technologies: Isolated DC/DC converters, LDO, PMIC, PoE standards (IEEE 802.3af/at/bt) are preferred.
• Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Nice to have experience supporting networking, telecom, server, AI, or automotive customers. Familiarity with Broadcom/Intel/Qualcomm/NXP platform clocking architecture are a plus.
• Ability to work independently with customers and manage multiple projects.
• Impeccable Work Ethic with Positive, Optimistic Attitude.
• Excellent command of written & spoken English and Mandarin are required.
• Excellent presentations and negotiation skills
