Job Responsibilities
- Perform recipe creation, setup, and optimization for Visual Inspection (VI) / Tape & Reel (TnR) machines (engineering samples and mass production)
- Monitor line performance and optimize yield by reducing overkill and underkill
- Troubleshoot vision and process-related issues
- Support lot disposition and ensure compliance with SOP, OCAP, and quality standards
- Support engineers in continuous improvement initiatives (yield, productivity, cycle time, cost)
- Maintain accurate real-time documentation and reporting
- Ensure adherence to 5S, EHS, and operational discipline
- Perform basic machine setup and hardware changeover (e.g., collet replacement)
- Perform other ad-hoc duties assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirements
- Diploma / ITE in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field)
- 1–3 years of relevant manufacturing experience (fresh graduates welcome)
- Experience in Visual Inspection (VI) / Tape & Reel (TnR) machines or similar automation/vision systems preferred
- Familiarity with Ueno Seiki, ASM, STI, or similar machines is an advantage
- Basic troubleshooting skills (mechanical, electrical, process)
- Knowledge of SPC, yield analysis, and problem-solving tools (e.g., 5 Why)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Good teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work 12-hour shifts
