Job Description

The RF Design Engineering Co-Op will be involved in the development of cutting edge products for wireless mobile systems. This position will enable a student the opportunity to work on design, simulation and testing of HBT PA and front-end modules.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Simulation and design of HBT power amplifier circuitries at both block level and top level

2. Simulating/validating performance across supply, temperature and frequency

3. Block-level design and simulation to understand the circuits that are being measured and correlating measurements with simulation

4. Analysis of measurement data and planning for subsequent experiments


Job Requirements:

•Currently enrolled in a PhD (strongly preferred) or MS program studying Electrical Engineering

•Must be returning to school following this Co-Op assignment

•Able to commit to the Summer / Fall Co-Op Program which runs from January - November 2022

•Candidate should be a self-starter and possess solid communication skills, both written and verbally

•A firm grasp and understanding of RF/Microwave concepts as well as sound PA fundamentals

•Knowledge of RF blocks such as low noise amplifiers, mixers, oscilators, etc.

•Working knowledge of Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer and other RF tools is a plus
