RF Test Engineering Technician (2nd Shift , 4PM to 12:30AM):

In this role, the RF technician will support engineering activities in an RF lab developing cutting edge RF chips used in mobile devices. Responsibilities include operating automated testers, carry out and maintain testing schedule,  running automated calibration routines, perform basic  manual RF tests, ESD testing, evaluating standard RF devices, including but not limited to couplers, filters, duplexers, amplifiers, isolator, building fixtures, building RF test setups. Ability to build harnesses using a solder iron.This Role will be a part of test and validation engineering team in an R&D environment of highly advanced PA devices operating cellular technologies GSM/CDMA/WCDMA/LTE.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate Degree and/or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of related experience
  • Familiarity with standard RF test equipment: multi-meter, Spectrum Analyzer, VNA, Oscilloscope, signal generators, power meter, power supplies.  
  • Soldering skills, experienced in using soldering iron, hot plate
  • Ability to understand schematics and diagrams 
  • Building and racking test systems
  • Familiarity with handling RF chip devices in an ESD environment 
  • Experience with MS-Office and Windows OS.
  • Ability to interpret data, basic understanding of DC and RF data: voltage, current, Power, insertion loss, return loss
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Excellent organizational skills 
  • Must have team-oriented attitude, accountability and ownership.
  • Assembly experience is a strong plus  
  • Preferably with some knowledge with C++ or  similar 
  • Soldering skills a plus
