Job Description

1. Create full-coverage test plans for an on-going product. Test items include but not limited to: Linearity (IMD, P1dB, ACLR; EVM, SEM, etc.); Harmonics; Load/Source-pull; Noise; Stability; Ruggedness; S-parameter.

2. Collaborate with team members and execute DVT tests over process, voltage and temperature. Analyze test result and feedback to design team in timely manner to drive design improvement.

3. Drive full regression test activities for each engineering sample milestone.

4. Trouble-shoot test hardware and software issues.

5. Responsible for delivering and verifying product final characterization test plan.

6. Interfacing design team and product team to define ATE test items, driving DVT to ATE correlation. Work cross-functionally from the initial phase of the product development to final production.

7. Decipher and convert the customer specifications into a workable test solution.

8. Mentor and coach junior engineers and interns.

 

Key Qualifications:

1. Solid RF fundamental knowledge (in particular: PA; LNA; Duplexer; RF switches). Familiarity with 5G/4G/3G/2G cellular standards.

2. Proficiency in RF measurement and equipment (Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, Digitizer, Signal Generator, Tuner, Power Meter, Oscilloscope, etc.)

3. Excellent troubleshooting skills. Collaborative problem solver.

4. Programming skills (C/C++/Matlab/Python or equivalent) is highly desired.

5. Capability to operate in a fast-paced and multi-disciplinary environment and adhere to project schedules.

 

Education:

BSEE + 5 years' experience

MSEE + 3 years' experience

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $87,600$167,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
