Job Description

Position Summary:


In this role, the candidate will decipher and convert the customer's specification into a workable test solution. The candidate will participate in creating automated and manual test plans, perform hands-on device measurements, characterization and optimization. Candidate will then analyze data and present data review which will serve as guidance for design improvements and variants down selection

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include design validation activities, RF products testing, characterization and driving production readiness of high-performance FEM products. Products include PAs, PAMs, RF switches, RF duplexers typically used in the fast-paced and high-volume cellular market. The candidate will play a critical role in products realization, he/she   will be working closely with design team conducting comprehensive testing and data collection, data preparation and presentation in an R&D environment. 

The candidate will work with a mentor and have the following job responsibilities:

•             Validating performance across supply, temperature and frequency

•             Creating compliance matrices against spec, plotting results and presenting results summary


Qualifications and Education Requirements

Candidate must be currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering (or related) BS, MS, or Ph.D. program

Preferred Skills

RF measurements and test software development. RF fundamentals. Analog design concepts. Wireless knowledge. Test equipment operation and capabilities. Test equipment automation. Software development methodologies. C/ C++ programming.

•             Eager to learn and get hands-on experience with highly integrated RF circuits for the wireless industry.

•             Must be able to document and present her/his work in a clear and concise way.

•             Team player and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment to deliver the product on schedule

•             Basic knowledge of RF circuit design is a plus (transmission lines, discrete and distributed RF circuits, Passive RF circuits, Low Noise Amplifiers, Power Amplifiers)

•             Basic knowledge of RF circuit measurement is a plus (scattering parameters, intermodulation, gain compression, stability)

•             Basic design knowledge RF switch, low noise amplifiers, and RF systems is a plus.
