Description

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to lead strategy and execution for IoT segments including Smart City, Smart Home, Wearables, Industrial, Medical, and Automotive. This role combines technical depth, customer-centric engagement, and ecosystem leadership to define innovative products and drive them successfully to market. You will own the product lifecycle, influence roadmaps, and foster strong relationships with customers and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Product Roadmap & Strategy: Develop and maintain multi-year IoT product roadmaps aligned with customer needs and market trends. Monitor IoT ecosystem developments and emerging technologies to inform strategic decisions.
  • Product Definition & Concept Funnel: Identify new product opportunities across Bluetooth, LPWAN, Wi-Fi, and Cellular IoT (LTE-M, NB-IoT, 5G).  Own the concept funnel and collaborate with engineering to translate requirements into business proposals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, applications, operations, and sales teams to ensure seamless execution. 
  • Lifecycle Ownership & Design-Win Execution: Manage products from concept through end-of-life, ensuring successful design-in and design-win execution. Drive pricing strategies, ROI analysis, and margin optimization. 
  • Customer Engagement: Act as the primary contact for customers and sales, capturing feedback and aligning roadmaps to customer priorities.  Build and nurture long-term relationships with key accounts and ecosystem partners.
  • Sales Alignment & Pipeline Reviews: Partner with Sales to review pipeline health, track opportunities, and ensure alignment between product strategy and revenue goals.  Support demand planning and forecast accuracy through regular pipeline analysis.
  • Broad Markets & Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop strategies for diverse IoT segments ensuring tailored solutions for verticals. Own end-to-end go-to-market execution including messaging, collateral, and training for sales and channel partners.
  • Performance & Reporting: Track KPIs such as design-win conversion, revenue growth, and market share.
    Prepare executive-level reports and portfolio reviews. 

Required Experience and Skills

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related technical field; MBA preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience with 5+ years in product or segment marketing within IoT, semiconductors, or connectivity solutions.
  • Technical Expertise: IoT connectivity (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LPWAN), Cellular IoT (LTE-M, NB-IoT, 5G), RF systems and/or embedded architectures
  • Proven ability in cross-functional leadership, ecosystem building, and negotiation.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Desired Experience and Skills

  • Deep understanding of IoT trends and ecosystem partnerships.
  • Ability to influence technical roadmaps and drive strategic investments.
  • Track record of launching products and achieving aggressive design-win targets.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $129,400 - $247,800 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different base pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S. Benefits include access to healthcare benefits (including a premium-free medical plan option), a 401(k) plan and company match, an employee stock purchase plan, paid time off (including vacation, sick/wellness, parental leave), among others.
