Job Description

Job Title: Applications Engineer 2

Location: Shenzhen, China

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Master Skyworks’s automotive tuner / audio DSP / demodulator products knowledge, assist FAEs and customers to solve software application issues in customer’s projects.
  • Proceed basic bench performance tests with EVBs or customer platforms against customer’s technical standard, do necessary radio / audio configuration parameters adjustment to ensure our product can well meet customer’s project requirements.
  • Review customer’s software code, communication logs, to find out their application programming issues.
  • Proceed radio or audio DSP firmware validation test using company internal test procedure and test suite.

Location: Shenzhen, China

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in one of the following majors: Electrical Engineering /Electronic Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electronics and Information Engineering, Communication Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, etc. with 3 years relevant experiences.
  • It is better to have at least 3 years experiences of software programming or IC applications engineering support in relevant AM/FM radio receiver or Automotive infotainment system.
  • Good programing skills with C/C++, python, TCL scripts. Has experience on software programming on embedded/Linux system.
  • Basic knowledge in analog / digital electronics circuit, can well understand customer’s circuit operating principle.
  • Good skills and knowledge in Microsoft Office tools, such as Excel, Word, etc..
  • Impeccable work ethic with positive, optimistic attitude.
  • Good command of written & spoken English is required.
