Engineering Associate, NPI

Responsibilities
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities for RF filter products, including Engineering Samples, Design of Experiments (DOE), prototypes, qualification builds, engineering samples, and product launches.
- Prepare and execute NPI requirements such as checklists, schedules, process and recipe setups, material specifications, sample requests, and logistics coordination to ensure smooth project execution.
- Coordinate DOE sample handovers and project activities with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet project requirements, timelines, and objectives.
- Track and maintain NPI product lifecycle activities in the Agile system, ensuring accurate and timely updates.
- Prepare, review, and maintain infrastructure documentation, process records, and project trackers to ensure data accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Monitor sample movement, build progress, and project milestones, escalating risks and issues to support on-time project completion.
- Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, and Operations teams to resolve day-to-day issues affecting DOE builds and qualifications.
- Support yield monitoring, quality evaluations, and data collection activities to help achieve product performance and qualification targets.
- Assist in the implementation of process improvements and standardization initiatives to enhance NPI efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and operational procedures throughout the NPI process.
- Provide operational and administrative support for departmental initiatives, special projects, and ad hoc tasks as assigned to support business and organizational objectives.
Required Experience and Skills

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related disciplines, including Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business, or other Science fields.

Minimum 1 year of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI), Research & Development (R&D), Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Project Coordination within the semiconductor or electronics industry.

Fresh graduates with relevant internships, projects, or strong interest in semiconductor manufacturing and NPI are encouraged to apply.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (Intermediate level).

Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.

Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across cross-functional teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Experience and Skills
- Experience in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, or high-tech industries.
- Basic knowledge of New Product Introduction (NPI), product qualification, Design of Experiments (DOE), engineering sample management, or manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with Agile, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or project tracking systems.
- Experience coordinating engineering samples, prototype builds, or qualification activities.
- Knowledge of yield monitoring, quality control, and data analysis methodologies.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, dashboards, and data analysis.

Knowledge of Power BI, Python, programming, or automation tools is an added advantage.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders, suppliers, and external customers.
- Understanding of process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Knowledge of filter manufacturing processes and semiconductor packaging or assembly operations is an added advantage.
