Job Responsibilities
- Support the investigation of yield loss issues in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment and assist in monitoring parametric and defect-related yield performance for RF filter product lines.
- Assist in yield analysis activities by collecting and reviewing sort yield data, inline metrology data, and defect data to identify trends and abnormalities.
- Maintain and utilize yield tracking, reporting, and analysis tools to support yield enhancement activities.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly yield reports for internal stakeholders.
- Analyze test parametric data, defect mapping, SPC (Statistical Process Control) data, inline metrology data, AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) data, and defect pareto charts under guidance from senior engineers.
- Work with Process and Equipment Engineers to support troubleshooting and corrective actions for yield-related issues.
- Participate in process improvement projects aimed at enhancing productivity, yield, and manufacturing efficiency.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
- Support cross-functional teams in implementing and monitoring yield improvement actions.
- Participate in root cause investigations, problem-solving activities, and continuous improvement projects.
- Monitor daily product yields and escalate abnormalities or potential risks to responsible engineers.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve yield monitoring, reporting efficiency, and problem-solving effectiveness.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, Industrial, Computer Science, or related field).
- Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, or a related industry.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis tools such as Excel, JMP, MATLAB, or equivalent software.
- Understanding of basic statistical concepts and quality tools is an advantage.
- Willingness to learn semiconductor manufacturing processes and yield analysis methodologies.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to semiconductor manufacturing, backend wafer processing, or test operations through internships, projects, or work experience.
- Familiarity with SPC, yield analysis, and data visualization tools.
- Knowledge of RF, SAW, or BAW filter manufacturing processes is an added advantage.
