Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs for semiconductor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex equipment malfunctions, conduct root cause analysis, and drive implementation of corrective and preventive actions
  • Strategically manage Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) systems, leveraging data analytics to proactively identify and mitigate potential equipment failures
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Process, Quality, and Production teams to enhance equipment efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve overall manufacturing yield
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying and implementing innovative solutions to optimize equipment performance and extend equipment lifespan
  • Establish and manage inventory control strategies, ensuring availability of critical spare parts while minimizing costs and lead times
  • Mentor and develop Engineers and Technicians, fostering a high-performance engineering team through structured training programs and skill development initiatives
  • Lead the installation, qualification, and ramp-up of new equipment, ensuring seamless integration with existing manufacturing processes
  • Develop and enforce safety protocols, industry standards, and regulatory compliance, promoting a culture of workplace safety and operational excellence
  • Work closely with vendors and suppliers to negotiate service agreements, evaluate new technologies, and drive cost-saving initiatives
  • Prepare and present technical reports, equipment performance reviews, and strategic recommendations to senior management

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in semiconductor equipment engineering, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role
  • Strong expertise in semiconductor manufacturing equipment, maintenance methodologies, and failure analysis
  • Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams, setting strategic direction, and driving high-impact projects
  • Proficiency in FDC systems, equipment automation, and predictive maintenance technologies
  • Proven track record of optimizing equipment performance, cost reduction, and yield improvement initiatives
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex technical challenges
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating across departments and with external partners
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, industry best practices, and safety regulations in a semiconductor environment
